The Voyageur Classic
Horae was able to find a total of only 200 movements of the A.Schild 1568 alarm watch. These movements have been used to construct four distinctive types of alarm watches in very limited series, with some series having as few as 10 pieces. When each of these distinctive series is sold out, they will become unavailable, and will not be made again.
There are a total of 50 pieces available in the Voyageur Classic series. The watch recreates the feeling of the classical designs of the 1950's and early 1960's when the A.Schild alarm movements first came out, creating an instant classic.
The Horae alarm watch has a 36 mm case and watch case back are made of 316L stainless steel. It employs a single back system with the alarm ringing loudly against a integral sound bar. The case back is screw mounted. The crystal is a high quality tension ring Hessalite crystal. The Voyageur Classic is 3 ATM water resistant.
The Voyageur Classic watch band is genuine Kudu. Kudu is a non
endangered African antelope ; Kudu hide is considered to be among the most beautiful and durable leathers for use in watch bands. In addition to the genuine Kudu band, a stainless steel bracelet is supplied free of charge as standard equipment.
The Voyageur Classic has three dials available: White satine argent, Black and Blue. Each dial uses applique numbers. Hands are dauphine style in keeping with the design of the era.
The Voyageur Classic is 1300 euro
